🌈WELCOME🌈

Thank-you for visiting my website.
You can learn more about me and my approach to counseling and therapy by clicking the above tabs:
Psychotherapy, Family & Couples Counseling,:
will provide details of the various ways we can work and at times even laugh and cry together to discover and develop what ever
matters most.

I meet with private individuals, couples and families to assist them to manage difficulties in their lives as well as figuring out just what matters most to them
and how they might go about creating the life they want.

"I include what are currently reffered to as "evidence based" approaches to therapy such as Cognitive and Mindfulness Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Biofeedback, Breath Training, Meditation, Somatic Awareness, EMDR, Brain Wave Entrainment, & when appropriate,  hypnotherapy, are employed to assist people who meet with me to increase their problem solving and social skills.
At times and when appropriate I encourage physical, emotional, mental and spiritual development as well. The approaches mentioned above can lead the way to a deeper discovery of gifts available to every individual that they may have not yet discovered. Through exploring the possible value of longer term therapy via the Depth Analytical Psychology approach to the unconscious that was developed by
Carl Jung, M.D. she can guide individuals to understand their dreams and to develop their creative potential.

Dr. Nelson has always been intuitively interested in people. This quality contributes an important element to her formal education that is not taught in graduate school. It is found in deep understanding, intelligent strategizing and compassionate acceptance of every person she counsels.
